  • marauderthesn@livejournal.com

Online, Marauder The Slash Nymph is the author of over fifty fanfics, half of the wizard rock band The First Task Is Dragons, an icon maker, and a moderator at FictionAlley Park as well as the captain of its HMS Wolfstar. Offline, she is a licensed attorney/brand-new stay-at-home-mom with way too many literary projects. Regardless of where she is, she loves same-sex love stories; reading; her husband, Mr. Marauder; and her daughter, Marauder Junior.

All the icons I've ever made can be found at nymphic_icons.

My wizard rock band, The First Task Is Dragons, is here.

Marauder's Fanfics: The Critics Raved...

"Totally brilliant." - heidi8

"Absolutely brilliant." - wildesidewalker

"Made of excellent." - luna_glass_wall

"There are no words for the genius of this." - gethenian

"Beautiful. I needed this. I really, really did. You make me believe in Percy/Oliver again." - a_pious_cruelty

"Percy/Oliver is one of my favorite ships. This fic made me tear up a bit." - brightnovafaeri

"This is so sweet, without ever being sappy, and wonderfully written." - tekalynn

"This fic is pure amazingness...There's so much here that's beautiful and sad and heart-warming and just wonderful. Thank you so much." - aurora_knight

"All of the details here...really fill the piece out and give it individual character. Excellently done." - gileonnen

"I have to tell you, I adore this fic. There's such great compassion in it for all the characters involved, and the way you write them feels like it's actually them." - oudeteron

"Very nicely done...It rang true emotionally, which is always a good thing to find!" - snorkackcatcher

"This was so perfect. I must add it to my personal canon!" - elwing_alcyone

"Of all the fics I've ever read concerning Dumbledore, I think this is the one that has made the most sense. Thank you." - luna_norvegese

"That's really beautiful. Everything seems perfect, the way you've written. I'm kind of impressed." - greyxpassion

"This is beautiful. So beautiful I didn't know while I was reading if the sunlight I felt was from the story or coming out of my window..." - nassima

"I love that we get an overall look at their relationship over the years, and that we see their innocence fade over the years into something much darker and sadder. Wonderful job, really. I loved it." - tailoredshirt

"Aw, that was so sweet and lovely...No coherent comments, on account of I'm practically crying right now." - shaggydogstail

"Seriously, you just made me die a little bit in the best possible way." - icanseethebunny

"You have this strange, but beautiful way of painting with words. Well done." - taurean_sin

"You did a beautiful, beautiful job. The language is brilliant and vivid and precise." - gehayi

"Excellent job...Also, the way you described the love scene was poetry, my dear. Poetry." - trubbleclef

"OMFG I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS WAS DEDICATED TO ME BECAUSE I AM SO UNWORTHY OF IT AND YOUR BRILLIANCE BUT I WILL TAKE IT BECAUSE I AM GREEDY AND INCOHERENT." - mclachlan

"I don't know whether to cry or laugh out loud first. But this is totally adorable and very refreshing." - thelastaerie

"It's a bit funny, a huge part of sad and at the same time has an comforting melancholic quality to it." - neverdone39

"I'm thrilled to see this fic. It's very touching and just beautifully handled." - honorh

"In my opinion, this captures a lot of the language and ambivalence of the era." - resolute

"You did a wonderful job. The boys were great and the sex was hot." - sarahdocbb

"This is simply excellent--funny, romantic, tense, and your dialogue is just perfect." - ekaterin24

"So funny and adorable. Thanks for keeping us in suspense until the very end." - sleeper6

"That was just too hilarious I was giggling like mad through the whole thing and eliciting pity looks from my mom." - dreaminginblack

"What a brilliant narration- you've entwined sex and loss and the entire equation of several shipwrecks into . . . what is this? 600 words? You've used language efficiently, purposefully; and canon and all the history of two Wizarding wars to the hilt. Absolutely my favorite flavor. Cheers." - hibernater

"What's loveliest though, is that it's sort of recaptured the original mystery spirit of the book when it came out many moons ago - it's a bit like reading it for the first time all over again." - such_heights

"OH MAN I LOVE THIS SO MUCH! I AM CHANNELING CAPSLOCK HARRY TO EXPRESS MY EXTREME EMOTIONS! MY EXTREME EMOTIONS OF LOVE." - elrondio

"You do a really good job of capturing the feeling of PoA, all mystery and menace." - elsane

"You're brilliant. Really. I know this has been said before, but you've managed to completely nail JKR's style. This is like reading canon with a different plot...I honestly don't think I've ever read the trio (and everyone else) more IC." - mullu

"I am so in love with this, you don't even know." - mythologiced

"I have nothing to declare except your genius!!" - stella8h8chang

"This was like a poem. It has a raw emotion that most Percy/Oliver's lack. You can feel it, it moves you." - thegoldhadleft

"I LOVE YOU. THIS IS THE FUNNIEST THING I'VE READ IN AGES." - zooeyrye
